Field Service Engineer L1
This course is focused on creating competent Field Service Engineers that is capable of maintaining high efficiency and above average service levels.
The course includes hands on installation, relocation, maintenance service calls and site survey training with written and practical exams.
On successful completion of this course: You will be able to install, configure, relocate, fault find and recommission a (VSAT) system.
You have the option to subcontract for SATCOM7 as a Field Service Engineer to start earning and gaining experience.
You can also apply for a junior installer position with any VSAT installation group or ISP.
The course duration is 1 week for (Field Service Engineer L1)
The course locations are Port Elizabeth, Pretoria and Nelspruit.
On Site Courses can be arranged on request.
Cross Border courses need to be booked well I advance.
Foreign student to be proficient in English.

Student admission requirements:
Computer literacy
Own Laptop & Smart phone
Proficient in English - Read / Write / Speak
Able-bodied
Drivers License
Comfortable working with power tools.

The above fees cover tuition fees only and do not include accommodation, food, transport or any other expenses. We can assist with the booking of travel and accommodation with included meals.
Installer Locations
This course is suitable for future installers who live in city environments as well as outlying areas.
Satellite internet is a viable backup solution for any city based business who cannot afford to be offline.
Satellite Internet is often the only option for clients in remote locations like farms, mines and resorts.
